Macintosh Electric is Helping New York Plan and Prepare for the Next Big Storm

In October 2012, Hurricane Sandy hit home for many individuals and businesses on the East Coast, leaving countless homes and businesses in New York City and Westchester, damaged and without power. New York native, Macintosh Electric, was on the front-lines, and experienced first-hand the significance generators played in softening the blow. Macintosh Electric is looking to raise awareness, ensuring New York is prepared for the next big storm.

On the plus side, most business and homeowners were compensated for the loss and damages to their property, which resulted in a boost for trade workers, including masons, carpenters, licensed electricians and plumbers. The cleanup was extensive, time consuming, and costly to both the government and private sectors, leading to multiple generator lines being installed in order to prevent power loss.

Macintosh Electric Corp are promoting electrical safety and power loss prevention on their website. For this upcoming hurricane season Macintosh Electric Corp recommends running a generator line for your business or home. This will save you time, money and bring comfort in case of an emergency situation.
